OFFICER DUFFY (re-called).

Mr. GRINNELL (Q) You were on the stand yesterday about the location of the room from which you took that dynamite?

A Yes.

Q I asked you to go down and look at the building yourself?

A Yes, sir.

Q Have you been down there?

A Yes.

Q What corrections, if any, do you make in regard to the place in which you got that dynamite?

A I made a mistake in the floor that I said I found the dynamite. I thought the closet was on the first floor over the saloon, but I find it is on the second.

At this point counsel for the People presented the translations of Herr Most's book and of the article contained in the Arbeiter Zeitung called "The Platform of the International Workingmen's Association" proposing to read the same to the jury. (People's Ex. 15 & 16).

Counsel for defendants objected to the reading of the same.

Which objection was overruled; to which ruling of the Court defendants by their counsel then and there duly excepted.

Same read to the jury.

Adjourned to 10 A.M.
