HENRY LINNEMEYER,
re-called by defendants, was examined by Mr. Foster and testified as follows:-

Q- I will ask you Mr. Lindemeyer, when you examined that shelf, was there any such package as that on the shelf?
A- Nothing except the papers, an inch and a half or two inches high, the package was -- I did not see anything else
but that.
Q- Was that package there, or one like it?
A- Not that I saw.
Q- Did you stand on a chair and look over the shelf to see whether your brush was there?
A- yes, and I coould just look into it.
Q- You did not see any such package as that?
A- No.
CROSS EXAMINATION

Q- When did you first hear that the police had found dynamite in that closet?
A- I read it in the paper.
Q- Do you remember when that was?
A- No, that I can't say exactly.
