PEOPLE'S EX.97.

March 24th, 1886, first page.

EDITORIAL.

In railroad circles there is the greatest consternation they are afraid that the K. of L. in order to force the Gould system to surrender, would also inforce the freight blockade over a number of other roads. Several railroads in this city have given instructions to receive freight for transportation under such conditions which relieve them of all responsibility. Therefore these gentlemen are all united in the views that the fight between the labor organizations and the organizations of capital must this time be decided "now or never" they say. To the organized laborers we call "keep your power dry."
