About Great Chicago Stories
Credits
Great Chicago Stories is the result of a two-year collaborative effort between the Chicago History Museum, classroom teachers and their students, a national advisory board, and professional writers. The following organizations and people graciously contributed their time and talents to ensure that this website came to fruition.
Great Chicago Stories was made possible by a generous grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities: great ideas brought to life.
Any views, findings, conclusions, or recommendations expressed in this publication do not necessarily represent those of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
Heidi Moisan, school programs manager in the education department, served as the project developer. Barb Turk and Margaret Welsh, program coordinators in the education department, managed the day-to-day project operations.
