Brass lapel pin in the shape of a scaffold with a small wire noose attached to the top. Stamped into the metal at the bottom is "Nov. 11 / 1887."
After the execution of 4 of the defendants in the Haymarket Riot trial, pins like this one were worn by people who felt the defendants had been unjustly convicted and sentenced.
