Rectangular black marble paperweight with incised, stylized floral design and "J. S. Grinnell." engraved on top.

Julius Grinnell was the prosecutor in the Haymarket Riot trial of 1886. Following the trial, this paperweight was given to J. H. Brayton, a juror in the case.
