[Cook County Criminal Court Building and jail]. Court house, facing Hubbard Street, viewed from the center of the intersection of Hubbard with Dearborn Street. Court house is on the northeast corner of the intersection. In the background, a portion of the jail is visible. Site of the Haymarket Anarchists Trial. The defendants were held in the jail behind the courthouse, and 4 were executed in a courtyard between the jail and the courthouse.
