1 banner: silk, gilt, col.; 70 1/2 x 73 3/4 in.
Red bunting with "Fur Freheit und Recht" in gilt letters on one side and "Debatter Club von Chicago" on other side. Banner carried in parade on May 1, 1892 and taken by Chicago Police from socialists at the corner of Clark and Madison streets.
Donated to the Chicago Historical Society by Mayor Carter H. Harrison, II (CHS 1905.16).
